Disturbia Lyrics

Lyrics for Disturbia as interpreted by Droobles
Disturbia Lyrics
Send "Disturbia" Ringtone to your Cell Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum (What's wrong with me?)
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum (Why do I feel like this?)
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum (I'm going crazy now)
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum

No more gas in the rig
Can't even get it started
Nothing heard, nothing said
Can't even speak about it
All my life on my head
Don't want to think about it
Feels like I'm going insane
Yeah

It's a thief in the night
To come and grab you
It can creep up inside you
And consume you
A disease of the mind
It can control you
It's too close for comfort

Throw on your break lights
We're in the city of wonder
Ain't gonna play nice
Watch out, you might just go under
Better think twice
Your train of thought will be altered
So if you must faulter be wise
Your mind is in disturbia
It's like the darkness is the light
Disturbia
Am I scaring you tonight
Your mind is in disturbia
Ain't used to what you like
Disturbia
Disturbia

Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum

Faded pictures on the wall
It's like they talkin' to me
Disconnectin' your call
Your phone don't even ring
I gotta get out
Or figure this shit out
It's too close for comfort

It's a thief in the night
To come and grab you
It can creep up inside you
And consume you
A disease of the mind
It can control you
I feel like a monster

Throw on your break lights
We're in the city of wonder
Ain't gonna play nice
Watch out, you might just go under
Better think twice
Your train of thought will be altered
So if you must faulter be wise
Your mind is in disturbia
It's like the darkness is the light
Disturbia
Am I scaring you tonight
Your mind is in disturbia
Ain't used to what you like
Disturbia
Disturbia

Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum
Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum

Release me from this curse
I'm trying to remain tame
But I'm struggling
You can't go, go, go
I think I'm going to oh, oh, oh

Throw on your break lights
We're in the city of wonder
Ain't gonna play nice
Watch out, you might just go under
Better think twice
Your train of thought will be altered
So if you must faulter be wise
Your mind is in disturbia

RIP Alania Reed Hall

Sesame Street Star Dies of Cancer

Somewhere, behind a building, Big Bird is weeping.
He may be 40 now and have long since learned the meaning of death, but that doesn't make the passing of his Sesame Street pal Alaina Reed Hall any easier.
The actress, who starred as Olivia for 12 years on the PBS show, died of breast cancer on Dec. 17 in Los Angeles, reports Springfield, Ohio's WHIO Radio. She was 63 years old.
In addition to working with Muppets, Hall starred on the sitcom 227. She also graced the Great White Way as Matron Mama Morton in the original production of Chicago and the 1977 revival of Hair.

Brittany Murphy, Actress in 'Clueless,' Dies at 32

Brittany Murphy, the perpetually perky and slightly quirky actress who worked her way up from supporting parts to romantic leads after her breakout role in the film "Clueless," died Sunday in Los Angeles. She was 32.
Ed Winter, an assistant chief coroner in Los Angeles County, told The Associated Press that Ms. Murphy apparently collapsed in the bathroom and that the cause of death "appears to be natural." He said that an official cause of death might not be determined for some time.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call at 8 a.m. Sunday at the home that Ms. Murphy shared with her husband, Simon Monjack, a British screenwriter, in West Hollywood. Ms. Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m. Sunday, said Sally Stewart, a spokeswoman for the hospital.
The actress's wide brown eyes and unrestrained, asymmetrical smile made her a frequent choice for the role of ditz with an edge - such as the urban transplant to a Beverly Hills high school in "Clueless" and the riches-to-rags au pair in "Uptown Girls" - or a woman over the edge, playing characters with severe mental illness in the thriller "Don't Say a Word" and the drama "Girl, Interrupted."
The 1995 teen comedy "Clueless," an adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma" set in southern California and starring Alicia Silverstone, was a surprise hit, and though Ms. Murphy was 15 when she played the supporting role of Tai, the airhead persona stuck with her. It was her 2003 stint as the romantic lead in the Eminem vehicle "8 Mile," she told The A.P., that earned her more recognition.
"That changed a lot," she said in the 2003 interview. "That was the difference between people knowing my first and last name as opposed to not."Peter Travers of Rolling Stone said Ms. Murphy played the character of Alex "with hot desperation and calloused vulnerability. She's dynamite." But she was never a critics' darling. Stephen Holden of The New York Times was among those who compared her unfavorably to other female contemporaries, writing that she "suggests a dumbed-down Meg Ryan with a gloss of Melanie Griffith" in the 2004 romantic comedy "Little Black Book."
Ms. Murphy was born on Nov. 10, 1977, in Atlanta. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and her mother, Sharon, raised her primarily in New Jersey before bringing Ms. Murphy to Los Angeles to pursue a screen career.
But during the filming of "Clueless," her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, an event Ms. Murphy said affected her profoundly.
When Sharon Murphy's cancer returned in 2003, Ms. Murphy told People magazine that she "went to every doctor's appointment and chemo session" with her mother. "My mom taught me there's always a way to channel your fears into love."
A diverse set of credits accumulated in Ms. Murphy's filmography, including the tough, abused waitress in the gritty "Sin City," a concentration camp victim in the television film "The Devil's Arithmetic," and the voice of an animated penguin in "Happy Feet."
She also lent her voice to the character Luann on more the 200 episodes of Fox's animated series "King of the Hill," and collaborated on a song with the D.J. Paul Oakenfold.
"I don't really take myself very seriously," Ms. Murphy told The San Jose Mercury News in 2003. "I've never formally trained in acting, so I'm very instinctual and visceral with decisions. It hasn't really been a plot or scheme in any way, shape or form."
Indeed, her image often slipped beyond her control. She was repeatedly romantically linked to her co-stars, including Ashton Kutcher from "Just Married," and a string of broken engagements made her tabloid fodder. Ms. Murphy married Mr. Monjak in 2007. She is survived by him; her mother; her father, Angelo Bertolotti of Branford, Fla.; and a brother.
The Sylvester Stallone film "The Expendables," which features Ms. Murphy, is in post-production and is scheduled to be released next year.

Friday 12/18/09 Chris Brown appeared on 106 and Park. We didn't see a performance or new video don't understand that one. Chris appearance was because he drop new music that week. The host ask him about his favorite tracks but we didn't hear snippets. Brown was ask about twitter helping or destroying an artist image. Brown replied that twitter is a good medium to reach fans and promote yourself. So why did Chris delete his twitter after 5 months? The world may never know but Chris said you can find him on myspace(mgmt control this page) saynow, and http://www.chrisbrownworld.com. Brown said Mechanicaldummy is a person who follows the media and believes what it reports and print. SMH at the meaning of mechanicaldummy cause the blog site is a gossip and informative site. I ask my self this question why didn't his management manage his twitter page cause someone created @wiredupdummy to update you on the mechanicaldummy blog. Whoever manages @planetchrisbrown stated that twitter is for fans not media. Their lost too cause twitter's tweets are reported in media long before Chris Brown join the site.

Bow Wow Fires Managers

Bow Wow Fires His Managers
Bow Wow
Recently-recruited Cash Money rapper Bow Wow has decided to go the independent route and manage himself, according to a recent post from his Twitter account.

"I'm firing all managers. I'm taking the Ray Allen approach," the rapper tweeted, in reference to the self-managed NBA player. "I'm managing myself. Who knows me better than me? I know this game very well." For some this might be a natural progression, given the hustle most young rappers must exhibit in order to gain a potential manager's interest, however Bow Wow has had management as long as he's been rapping.

The young MC, 22, was discovered by producer Jermaine Dupri at the age of 11, and released his first album, 'Beware of Dog' at the age or 13. He has since released five solo albums, with his newest 'The Transition to Shad Moss' coming in 2010. We'll see how his self-management goes. At the very least, he should fare better than when he was being managed by Eric Murphy on 'Entourage.'

Chris Brown Fans Wish He Hadn't Deleted His Twitter

Chris Brown Fans Wish He Hadn't Deleted His Twitter
'The media is basically backing him against the wall,' one fan says of why Brown quit the service.
Chris Brown's Twitter account has passed into the great blogosphere beyond, taking with it the R&B singer's ability to shoot out photos of himself doing court-ordered community service and send communiqués to his fans like, "I'm tired of this sh--."
Who knows? Brown could one day return to the world of instant social networking, and he still has his Mechanical Dummy Web site. But the fans lined up to see his sold-out show on Tuesday night at the Nokia Theatre in New York were certain of one thing: He should never have left.
"I don't think he should have done it," 23-year-old Brittany Mack told MTV News. "The media is basically backing him against the wall. Yes, for the incidents that happened, he did it, he owned up to it. But it's been invading his life. Twitter is supposed to be casual, make new friends, put your thoughts out in the air, just have fun. Everything that he texts, [the media] is turning around and making it bad, and he's not a bad guy."
The complaint that negative publicity is all the media's fault was echoed by many of the folks who spoke with us. "I think for the younger generation, we would understand the frustration, the things he's talking about, but TMZ and the media is going to take a spin on that," argued Kendra Payne, 18.
Others declined to lay blame on journalists or even on Brown, who himself has acknowledged that his impulsive tweets have gotten him into trouble. Instead, they expressed their sadness that they'd no longer have the pleasure of Brown's messages. "I was depressed," said 18-year-old Kendra Payne. "The only reason why I made a Twitter was because Chris Brown made a Twitter. He was the first person I followed, and then when he deleted his Twitter, I was going crazy."
All this talk about abandoning the Twitterverse got some concertgoers thinking about other celebs who should follow the example of Brown, Miley Cyrus and others. "Tila Tequila, I think she needs to delete her Twitter," 17-year-old Ryan Mathis said. "I can't stand her. She wants a lot of attention. Everything she says is mad crazy. She says the dumbest stuff. There's no reason to be acting like that. No one cares."
